3 full days
If we went to Cancun on a Sat and came back on a Wednesday...do you think that would be long enough? That would give us 3 full days there......

Absolutely. Short flight, 3 full days, why not?
When we go to resorts, our preference is 4 full days and 5 nights and it works out fine. One less night wouldn't kill us.
