3 hr Glucose question
Hi,
I have my 3 hr on Thursday at 8am - I don't want to make myself crazy, but what can I eat for the next two days.? Can I eat any carbs, and if so, what kinds (fruit, brown rice?)....any recommendations would be great - I'm a bit nervous.

For the most accurate reading, just eat how you would normally eat. Thats what I did. if your changing your diet.. then whats the point of doing the test. I know some say try and limit your sugar and carbs intake the night before.

honestly... either you have GD or you don't. I did not change my eating habits prior to the test.

Eat what you want up until the day before... they should have given you an instruction sheet to follow.. Usually they tell you not to eat or drink after 10pm the night prior....

talk to your doctor about when you need to STOP eating. Mine told me 12 hours of fasting...
I took the 3 hour test today....

Altering your eating for a few days to get a negative test result probably isn't the best idea if you're not going to keep up w/ those eating habits - if you DO have GD, you need to know and you need to monitor it properly -
