3 month old nap question

My son is 3 months and is a great night time sleeper- I swaddle him sing him a song and he is out like a light. But I can't get him to sleep in the day time- he is obviously exhausted rubbing his eyes etc- but wont fall asleep. So I started doing the nighttime routine for naps- swaddling him etc and it works perfect but is this a bad thing to do? should swaddling only be for nightime?

I had the same thought at first, but then I realized that I could teach night and day other ways. Light room/dark room, noisy/quiet.

Daytime naps are important so if swaddling works I would go with it. We swaddled for naps and night time until he started escaping them anyways.
