32 weeks question...possible TMI...but a little concerned
I wear a pantiliner every day, and today I noticed a slight, light brown stain on it. When I went to the bathroom, the toilet paper looked normal, so it was only on the pantiliner.
Has anyone else experienced this? I made the mistake of googling this, and saw that the beginning of the loss of a mucus plug could be possible (so I'm a little freaked out).
I don't want to say anything to DH to freak him out, so I am posting here instead. Should I be worried about this?
Thank you.

i wouldn't be too worried about it at this point. it was only an extremely small amount and it hasn't continued. if you see any more i would call your OB just to be on the safe side (although i still wouldn't be crazy worried).
it might be the beginning of a mucous plug (but remember, it can take weeks to lose that so it really doesn't mean anything even if it is the plug). but i would say it's more likely related to the fact that your cervix is extremely vascular and probably just got a little irritated (e.g. have you had sex lately?).

We're due right around the same time and I've had this too. I didn't think to mention it to my OB, but I'm not really worried. If it was a significant amount of anything I'd be more concerned.
I lost my plug with DS1 and it is a completely different thing.

I too wore pantyliner everyday, felt more comfortable and dry. I had the same brownish-yellowish discharge too.. its totally normal. Hormones and extra blood flow are to blame (extra secretions from cervix) If it has a funky smell you shld tell your Dr otherwise dont worry..
**Good Luck and Congratulations**

Sex? What's that? It's been a WHILE.
Thank you all for making me feel so much better
