34 week appt - Question
I just got home from my 34 week doctor's appointment. My little boy is still breach.
So at my appointment, my doctor said that if the baby is still breach and I want to deliver vaginally, he can turn the baby. He said most doctors don't want the liability but he does it. What do you think? I guess I was a bit shocked - I never heard a doctor that was willing to do this.....
On a happy note, my doctor just purchaed a 4D machine and at my next appointment will show us our son 4D. We thought that we didn't want to do this BUT now that the doctor is offering - its just so hard to resist!

Re: 34 week appt - Question
There's def still time for baby to turn on it's own
I was offered that procedure too, and from talking to other mommies who did it, IT HURTS!! and my doc also said after all that pain it may not even work and/or baby could flip back again. My youngest was breech til about 35-36 weeks when she got into position :)
Good for the 4d though at the docs! i wouldn't be able to resist either!

Re: 34 week appt - Question
It seems like your dr has a lot of experience in turning the baby b/c he seems very confident. A lot of people will try to talk you out of it. Give it some more time like your dr said. Like I said a lot of dr's pass on doing this b/c it can be unsafe. But your dr seems very confident.
