Re: 3.5 month old still up middle night for bottle??
We still feed at 4 months. We do a dreamfeed at like 10-10:30 and that *usually* holds him until 5-ish, sometimes just until 3. I try giving the pacifier and if he's still fussing, I'll give him a bottle. Sometimes he'll take 3 oz, sometimes the full 8.

What is a dreamfeed? I am thinking it is what I do...she is half asleep when I feed her in the middle of the night? She usually eats 2-4 oz midnight...and I try also to sooth her w/ her pacifier but when that does not work and she cries I feed.

A dreamfeed is where you just pick them up while they're still totally and completely asleep - like before they even start stirring - and just feed them. Don't talk to them, don't wake them at all, no diaper change - James doesn't even get burped (apparently, they don't take in any air when they feed like this). Davenjess posted a link a while back about it - if you do a search with my name and "dreamfeed", you should be able to find it.
If we didn't do the 10 pm DF, James would probably wake up around 1 to eat. This gives us a nice long stretch from when we go to bed until when he wakes up on his own again. We've gotten a few nights out of him where he went from 11 until 7 the next morning.

Re: 3.5 month old still up middle night for bottle??
No question at all.. FEED. CIO is not meant because a newborn is hungry. Molly needed food during the night until she was 6-7 months old. That is VERY normal. At this age 5 hours of sleep in a row is considered a full night.
