35 weeks and a good Dr. visit

After finding out that the baby is on track to be pretty big they decided to give me another 3 hour Glucose test. I passed, so I have not developed GD.

Last visit I had a high BP, so I had to do a 24 hour urine collection - and the results showed very low in the normal range for protein so that was good too.

My internals started and they did the Beta Strep swab - quick and painless. My cervix is closed and hard.

Only down side is that I have another growth sonogram in 2 weeks and based on results we'll make a plan, my Dr. will not induce for a large baby, she said either I go into labor naturally before week 39 or we'll schedule a c-section for that week.

I hope baby hippo comes early, I'd really prefer not to have a c-section.

did you ask your doctor what the size of the baby is and why you cant deliver a big baby? that doesnt make sense. is she on vacation at 40weeks? i find that ridiculous that she wont let you go naturally at 40 instead of 39 weeks. is a week going to make the baby that much bigger.

i have a problem with these doctors so quick to do c sections. i had a 9lb 13 oz baby naturally with drugs and did fine. my cousin hada 10lb 6 oz baby natrually and we are both in the 5 ft 2 inch range and not big people. do you question the doctors reasoning? if you dont want a c section you tell them no c section your the patient here.
