35 wk check up - July Mommies, how are you holding up?
Had it this morning. Whoah nelly. Internals hurt like a mother - FYI.
All is good, cervix is short and closed (whatever that means  ). Baby Boy V has not made his descent yet.
GOOD NEWS - she feels like he is no longer breached!!!! We should know more at my 36 week appointment.
He'll be here soon!!
How are you all doing?

I have mine in 2 weeks....
I am swelling from the knee down and it is very UN SEXY!! LOL I have to wear flip flops now to work. I am done I want him out!

i have my first internal tomorrow. not looking forward to it. i'll be 36 weeks.
but i also have a sono which i'm excited about
i still feel great...just a swollen ankle sometimes

OMG Chikita you're scaring everyone!
Internals don't ALWAYS hurt. If you're making progress they're uncomfortable, but they don't hurt.
Now stripping the membranes - that hurts like a mother.

I'm the last of you July girls with  due July 30th. I have a 33 week appointment next week and a growth sono the following. I'm also starting to swell in my ankles and feet, deal with heartburn daily, and don't sleep that well, but overall doing well.

Internal was not fun!!!
Baby's head is starting to descend and I am 1 cm dilated, 40% effaced!!! I think this kid wants out as much as I want him out!!
I had a biophysical done. He is measuring 6lbs 7oz and although at the time I was only 35w3d he measured 36w4d!!

I have my 32 week appt. on Wednesday...starting this week, I'll be there every week. I also started to have swelling in my feet (once the weather started getting hot) and my new sympton is pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome (who knew this was a side effect of pregnancy?!?!?!)...other than that I am feeling pretty well...I have 4 more weeks of teaching and then can relax!

Two different sonos have me due either July2 or end of June.
Technically the same week but I like saying June better!!
My internal was not that bad at all. But I was dreading it all day so maybe I prepared myself for it. Thanks to whoever warned me!!!

thurs i will be 36w and i just want this baby out already!!! i had an internal at 34w and it hurt pretty bad, she didnt mention if i was dialated at all. im not sure when my next will be because she told me they dont do them until ur really close to ur due date because of the risk of infection. i go fri for my weekly appt and ill be prepared for one just incase. today my SIL told me she throught i dropped since she last saw me sat at my shower so im taking that as a good sign that she might be getting ready! i know its best to go a full 40w but i really dont know if i can last much longer!

I am 33 wks and DD likes o kick high right into my boobs Im enjoying every moment but I seriously cant wait to meet her !~! I am really tired and cant wait to stop working !!Oh yeah and my left foot is ridiculous ,it is sooooo swollen compared to my right foot !! But on a positive note I finally got my Traveling system !! I went with Graco and I loooove it already

I can't wait to meet DD they moved up my EDD 1 week today from 7/20 to 7/13 I'm hoping she comes in the two weeks befoe that I'm hot and tired now

My dr didn't mention any more sonos.
She guestimated by my last sono and feeling my belly.

Marlo, that was the quickest pregnancy ever! Well for me... So glad its almost over for you and your handsome will be here before you know it! Enjoy these last few weeks as your life will change forever once this little guy is here!

Well i had my 35 week appointment today. No internal though. I guess every doctors office is different.
Just had the normal blood pressure check, urine check, weight and the strep B test (which was nothing btw).
I go back in 2 weeks for my 37 week appointment. Then one week later for a sono to double check the position of the baby and to check the amnio fluid.
But from what the doctor felt, he's pretty sure the baby is in position.

Good luck to all of you ladies. Reading this thread depressed me a little because some of you are more dialated / effaced than I am at 38 weeks. Also, my little Chinese porker is measuring at 8lbs 10oz already.
I hope you all have a smooth delivery!
