39 Week Appt.

So today was my 39 week 4 day appt., and I have dilated a little--1.5 centimeters, though I'm having no contractions and no signs of impending labor.

I guess the baby will be born soon, but I am soooo tired of being so big by now. Also tired of the heartburn, etc. The only part I will miss at this moment is feeling our little moving around.

I did lose 1 lb. since last week though, which is a first since this pregnancy began. I've stayed the same some visits, but never lost.

Please send some labor vibes my way! I also tried the eggplant parm this weekend, walking, even raking leaves (though I didn't bend over to pick them up). Nothing.

Thank you for the vibes! I guess I shouldn't complain--in a way I'm relieved that he stayed here for the full amount of time and wasn't born too early--that would have worried me even more.

The day-to-day waiting is getting to me a little though. In retrospect, it's probably good I worked until last week. Otherwise, I'd really be climbing the walls by now.
