3rd b-day party suggestions...

Last year Rjs party was at "The Little Gym" and it was wonderful, but Im not sure what to do this year....

Any suggestions???

Im thinking possibly:

White Post Farms
Thats Entertainment
Once Upon a Treetop
Brennars Farm
Atlantis Aquarium

Im not going to any kind of moon bounce place- since a good friends party will be the same weekend at a moonbounce placeChat Icon - and since alot of the same kids will be at the party- I dont want the kids to get "bored" with it- KWIM?

Im not a big fan of having a party, at a place thats open to the public at the same time...Although White Post does do a nice party...

Any ideas???

ETA The party will be the last weekend in Sept OR the 1st weekend in Oct.

you JUST posted what I was about to ask...
I cannot believe our babis are going to be THREE.

Honestly, if I lived closer to it and it wasn't a hike for my guests, it would be HANDS DOWN Once Upon a Treetop. It is beyond a cute place and they do a GREAT party.

It's pretty amazing. I know it's higher on the pricing end, but they have an ENTIRE city with themed play and a padded slide...it's pretty awesome.

We are having my daughter's 3rd bday at Wood Kingdom in Farmingdale. I think it's great for their age, since they like to be very active.

I'm doing Miranda's at Build a Bear. I'm keeping it small. It will probably be about 5-8 kids. We'll do Build a Bear and then cake in the food court at the local mall.
She really loved Build a Bear so while it may not be a real over the top party I think she'll really love it!

We are having my kid's 3rd at White Post Farms. The dates book up fast I had to take the Sunday instead of the day we wanted. I did this in Apri and their b-day is the end of August.

Someone my DH knows called Atlantis and it was 1,000 for a kid's party there for 12 kids. I thought that was insane.

DS had a Bowling party for his 3rd birthday; He LOVES to bowl! It was awesome for them, the kids had bumpers and extra light balls and some of the adults bowled too on the lanes next to them. They also gave DS a a birthday bowling pin!

Re: 3rd b-day party suggestions...

I am having JAcob's 3rd at Bouncers and Slydos in Melville off of 110.. That is the new place that alot of my friends are having their parties...

Nassau--- why not a real gymanstic type of place:
Mid Island Gymnastics ( had JAcob's there last year and it was great)
Hot shot gymnastics in Plainview
Phoenix gymnastics on Spagnoli rd in Old Bethpage...

In Suffolk there is Kangaroo Kids
NYparty zone in Farmingdale...

White Post farms-- had a B-day party there recently--- about 40 kid party- it was really unorganized...
It is also $499 to start unless you do it during the week...

There is also always- Once Upon a treetop and Pump it up...

Has anyone been to Orly's Treehouse Annex that opened in Commack????

Just bumped a post...I was looking into SweetBriar Farms around the same time as you are. I may opt for apple/pumpking picking.

Joseph wants to have a costume party for his birthday (Sept 19). I'm pushing his party to the beginning of October because of Cow Harbor Day.

For their 3rd birthday, we did an Elwood Movie Theater party.

Re: 3rd b-day party suggestions...

Ok...went to the party at White Post yesterday...

DD had so much fun! They started out taking pony rides. Then they fed the animals - they didn't limit them on the food either (goats, sheep, pigs). They washed up, had pizza, then went back out and gave bottles of milk to the goats (too cute). They were also given a rabbit in a basket to pet. They washed up again and had cake. The favors were really cute - candy bags and animal crackers in sand pails with their names on them.

I really liked it.

Also, the other party my daugther absolutely loved was at Bouncers and Slydos in Farmingdale. It was the FIRST time we walked in somewhere and she immediately let go of my hand, said "bye ma" and I didn't see her for an hour. I wanted to go on everything!!

Good luck.
