3rd Tri girls...question about baby size
How big is your baby measuring/did your baby measure around 33 weeks? I just had a growth sono and is measuring 4lbs 10oz so he only gained 1 lb in 3 weeks... I dont know...they didn't express any concern, but I guess I figured since both DH and I are tall, and our families tend to have bigger babies (all over 8lb) that this little guy wouldn't be so little! And then I'm getting nervous his growth is slowing down because of the cord insertion and/or the calcifications in the placenta...
What were your babies measuring around that time?
TIA!

Re: 3rd Tri girls...question about baby size
I know...thanks
I think I'm just worrying because 3 weeks ago, he was measuring in the 63%, whereas now, he's only 43%. I thought that was a pretty big jump in a short amount of time, and with the cord/placenta issues they said the big problem would be lack of growth.

Re: 3rd Tri girls...question about baby size
Sounds like you are right on track! When I had my 32w growth sono the doctor said baby should be between 3 3/4lbs and 4lbs so at 33w you sound great! They start to pick up steam in the last 6-8w.

I'm just over 32 weeks and the sono I had today said baby is 4 lbs 4oz. So your baby's weight sounds good to me!

Re: 3rd Tri girls...question about baby size
I had a growth sono at 33.5 weeks. The baby was measuring 5 lbs 4oz. The growth sonos can be way off so I wouldn't worry about it.
