3rd trimester girls
Do any of you have severe pressure on your cervix or near that area.
I can barely stand up straight today or walk, the pressure turns to a burning pain. OUCH.
Is this normal? Ever since he dropped down, the pressure has been there, but this is making it hard to move around.

Re: 3rd trimester girls
When I was in my third trimester, I had extreme pressure and my dd NEVER dropped!
I couldnt even turn over in bed without pain. Its so annoying, but worth it in the end.
Feel better!

Re: 3rd trimester girls
I have LOTS of pressure when I stand. Walking is even worst. I find that going to the bathroom helps a bit.
Otherwise, it gets so uncomfortable. It gets worst as the day goes.

Re: 3rd trimester girls
PRESSURE!!!!
OMG!! Its horrible. I cant even turn from one side to the next in bed. I find that by the end of the day its worst...depending upon how much activity I did during the day.
I have not had any burning..but definitely pressure. Yesterday the dr said my cervix is beginning to thin out and I am most a fingertip dilated. So the next 3 weeks cant go by soon enough.
We're all in this together. Hopefully you are at home resting at this point. Friday was my last day of work.
Get some rest

Yes, and I asked the Dr about it...she said it is common as long as it is not associated with bleeding, and as long as it is not "knocking you over." I don't get the burning in the cervix perse, but it does radiate down my legs....

Re: 3rd trimester girls
I was going to post the same thing!?
I'm 28 weeks and went for my daily walk at lunch. The pain down there is so bad I felt like this baby is going to drop right out of me! I don't even want to know what the weeks ahead have in store for me!
Sleeping?? the pains keep me up at night.

Yes!!! THere are certain times when I am sitting and I stand up and I feel the pressure soooo low. Usually when I lay down though it goes away.

Re: 3rd trimester girls
yes, i have tons and tons of pressure and pain. it is getting more and more uncomfortable with each passing day.
sometimes i stand up and think i'm going to fall over in pain!! i hold the bottom of my belly, almost trying to lift the babies up to relieve the pressure-it doesn't really work though!

This is why I want to be home a month before I give birth. I can't even imagine having to take a bus and 2 trains to get to work and then walking in JULY!

Re: 3rd trimester girls
I've had this a couple of times. For me, I found that moving into a squatting position helped it to pass. (The pain I experienced was like a knife was sticking down through me .)

wow, squatting seems too ambitious for me!! i can barely get up as it is, if i'm that close to the floor, i may be "down for the count!!!"
