3rd trimester ladies who are still working...?

How long do you plan on working for and how many hours?

I was at my OB monday and 35 weeks and the recep found it shocking I was still working.. I only work 3 days a week b/c I have a toddler already. Last pregnancy I was pulled out of work a month early and put on bedrest. Thought this time I would try and keep going until labor came b/c we need the paycheck.

I'm 35 weeks and change and still working. But it's getting tough. I'm just going to play it by ear. My job knows that as well, so they're prepared for me to leave whenever I want to. I'd really like to try and stick it out until I deliver, but as I get closer I don't know if that's going to be possible. Getting in and out of the subway is getting really difficult and exhausting.

ETA: We need the paychecks too that's why I'm trying my hardest.

I'm nearing the end of 36 weeks and still working. My last day actually is next Friday. I kind of wish I made it tomorrow though. Even though I have a desk job, it's just getting harder and harder to get myself to work in the morning and by the end of the day I'm so exhausted I don't know which end is up.

I own my own buissiness so I am still working.... I'm actually frantically trying to get a million things done so I can try adn relax for a few weeks when teh baby comes but for the most part, I can't really "stop" working....... I will still have to answer emails and phone calls when I can.....

I'm kinda nervous since this is the begining of my busy season and I've been slammed lately but we'll see how it goes. I'm lucky my DH is awesome and can help with a bunch of stuff but i'm a bit nervous!

I'm 38 weeks and I took today off but am technically still working. I have an appt tomorrow and my doctor will let me know about continueing to work (high BP recently). As long as my doc is ok with it then I'll keep working. I work at the hospital where I'll be delivering and my job is not very stressful. I also have been having my DH drop me off so I don't have to deal with parking far away and walking.

1st child i worked past my DD until was born.
2nd- they let me work from home on the friday of my 38th week- but i had the next day.
this one- im only 33wks- im taking it week by week- its going to slow down at my job in the next week, but it will depend on how i feel. Ill make it till 36wks+.

I'm planning to work until at least my due date (unless I deliver before that obviously). I only work part-time though so it will be 23 hours each week.

I am still working. It is not that bad yet. For some reason I still have a bit of energy.

I am hoping to work till my due date which is 2/18

My last day of work was yesterday and my due date is Saturday so I worked up until 39.5 weeks. I honestly wanted to save all my time for post-baby and I'm happy I did. Now if only baby dodge can come soon, we'll be in good shape.

Commuting was rough, but I would have gone stir crazy if I was sitting home for the past two weeks.

33w+ and will work until the end here. I sit at a desk, and to be honest I would be more active physically if I were to stay at home.

Yeah, still working. Will be 34 weeks on Saturday and will probably work until I deliver if all is still going well. I really want to use the 12 weeks I have all with the baby.

I'm actually due Sunday and am still working. I have off monday for the holiday and have a doctors appointment and BPP test scheduled so if he doesn't come before then I guess i'll see what they say. I would hate to be using time when he is not here but don't really want to be at work either. My doctor said as long as everythings ok I can work as long as I want...

I am working until the end of my 37th week. I would have gone a little longer, but I have the following week off for Feb. break, and I don't want to go up to my due date. I need a little time to rest before comes, as I am hardly sleeping at all now.

I'm working until 38 weeks (I'm 33 weeks now and COUNTING the days until I can leave!!!!!!!!!!!).

33 Weeks and still working... my regular job and both my side businesses.

My last day at my regular job will be the Friday before my c-section, which is scheduled for a Monday. Right now there is no reason not to work right until the end.

I have a few more sessions booked this month which will carry my photography workload into early Feb but no more sessions past January. Those are getting tough...but still doable.

With my first I worked till the day I got admitted to the hospital. Second I worked to the day before my scheduled c and this one I will also work till the day before my scheduled c

Good question. I am not sure what to do. I am 37 weeks and planned to work until baby comes. I am lucky because I work 10 mins from home and 10 mins from the hospital, but
I travel sometimes all over LI and the five boroughs. Lately they have been keeping me in the office alot. I used to be out 3-4 times per week now it's just 1-2, but I'm nervous about being stuck in say Manhattan or Brooklyn and not getting to my hospital.

So I was thinking of telling them that I want to take off at least the week before my DD, but only if they will let me do that in addition to the 6 weeks maternity.

Can they even allow you less than six weeks after the baby?
