You're going to do great. You have a positive attitude and that is the most important for a speedy recovery.
see if your doula can come to the house instead. Maybe you will need help with the baby.
Will be praying you and your baby are healthy and you have a speedy recovery!

I went 41 wks 6 days with my son and had to have a c-section because nothing was happening. I didnt even have one labor pain (that I could feel). He was estimated at 10 lbs and came out 10 lbs 13 oz so I was very glad to have a c-section even though I was terrified. But I was glad to have him delivered healthy with no complications.
And FYI my recovery was easy and I was off the pain meds by day #4. As painful as it is, you have to get up and move when they tell you to.

Yay! The wait is almost over!!! Don't sweat the C- section. It was soooo much easier then I ever expected. I was up the next morning walking and showering. The only time I had discomfort was when trying to change postiions, like going from laying down to sitting; sitting to standing.
5 days till your life changes forever!!!

Good to know there's an end in sight! Pushing out a tiny 5 pound baby is hard enough....I don't even want to think about 9 pounds!
