Breast Pumps - Which One?
I am looking at breast pumps now and just curious what you all are getting.
There seem to be such a wide range on babies r us.
TIA!

I am renting a hospital grade one, IMHO, they are much better than any one I can afford to buy (without spening like 2k )

Re: Breast Pumps - Which One?
I registered for the The First Years - miPump Single Breast Pump. It's gotten great reviews and it's quieter than some of the others.
ETA: It's about $55.00. I couldn't afford the expensive ones so this was the best option for me. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Breast Pumps - Which One?
Granted everything goes ok w/breast feeding, I'm planning on getting the Medela In Style (double electric) pump because of all the great reviews
I won't buy it till I'm home for a week or two to make sure I can BF

Re: Breast Pumps - Which One?
I registered for the Medela Free Style, I think it's $379.
I read good things about it and it supposedly has hands free pumping which might make things easier for me since I'll be going back to work after only 6 weeks.
I wonder what other people think though.

I think I am getting the Lanisoh double electric.
The lactaction consultant who gave my BF class said hospital grade pumps are unnecessary for home use.

Re: Breast Pumps - Which One?
I have the Medela Pump in Style backpack and it worked well with my first dd. I had to use it while at work, so I wanted a double electric pump. It was fast, convenient and worth every penny to me!

Re: Breast Pumps - Which One?
I'm renting a hospital grade one. Its about $40/month. If for some reason I cant breast feed or my milk doesnt come in, I can just stop the rental and I wont feel like I wasted $$ on a pump.
