You should call them. I know what you are going through, I had to have an amnio done cuz my AFP test came back showing that I was at risk for a downs syndrome baby and thank goodness the amnio results came back normal.
The hard part is waiting for the results. I got prelminary results. They should be available within 48 hrs. My prelimnary results came in like 6 days cuz it was smack in the middle of the chirstmas holidays...ask about the preliminary results, cuz the final ones come back in like 2 weeks. At least mine did. I opted for both results of course
to you and I hope you get the results that you want.

Hi ladies,
Thanks so much for thinking of me. I found out on Thursday that the doctors office sent the fluid to the wrong lab  . We were so upset but the genetic counselor said that she would do everything to get the results asap. She called on Saturday with preliminary results and said all the cells were normal. She doesn't like to give the results over the phone with out having the report in front of her but she felt really bad for us. She said that she should have the full report Monday morning (today) and she will call me with the results. I believe the office opens at 9am so I'm waiting for her to call. I will post as soon as I hear.
This is only one step in our very long process. I go tomorrow for my next sonogram and we are praying that everything is ok. The baby has a cystic hygroma on the neck and there is still a chance that something might be wrong. We are so scared and I pray that no one has to go through this. It really is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through.
I will post as soon as I hear 100%!! Thanks again for all your prayers! It looks like it really help!!
