Only to daycare each week since we can't count on them receiving a check on time even though they're down the street from us.

I still write checks. Most of my stuff is paid online but I still send checks.

I dont, and never did, at stores but I still pay all my bills (credit cards, cell phone, etc.) with checks instead of online.

I only write checks when I have to. All my bills that can be paid online are. In the store, I use my credit card so I can get miles. I haven't seen someone write a check in ages in a store! I would be pizzed off too, if the person just stoof there doing nothing and then took forever to write the check.

yes I still write checks, I prefer it.
mostly for bills, but I'm not opposed to using them shopping if I remember to bring it. (for the most part I will only do this in a store that makes it easy for you by printing the info on the check and you just have to sign, like Walmart.)
I don't own a debit or ATM card and don't want one.

I do to ... and I don't have a debit just an ATM card.. Who cares why I write checks And I can guarantee you it has nothing to do with not having money I get direct deposit AND now a days when they run your check through if you have ever bounced a check you are denied,,,AND they block (HOLD) the money so I can't leave the store and withdraw MONEY ...
