Whos going back to work after birth ????

I was working for a DDS P/T 3 days a week.
I am currently on Disabilty and after the birth of my 2nd child I still have not made up my mind if I will be returning to work ??

Who else is or isnt returning to work ???

I have to go back. I make more money then my husband. I also carry the family insurance. MY Dh is thinking of working from home a few days a week once the baby is home. He thinks this is going to be easy!!!! HAHA

I'm going back after three months b/c I carry the family insurance and to live comfortable on long island I have to work

I carry the ins. so I'll be going back but I'm cutting back on my hours from 40 to 30/wk

I have to go back. Im going to take my 3 months and look for something maybe PT a few hours a day. We def. need some kind of 2nd income.

I'm going back...I have my own business, and I make the $$$ and carry the insurance. DH will stay home with the baby, or maybe find something part-time if he can.

i have to go back as well... i will carry the insurance for the baby so i have to anyway... i wish i could be home but i'm not too upset over it, my MIL will be watching the baby and i travel throughout long island so my hours vary from 5-8 hours/day

We couldn't pay our mortgage if I didn't go back but I am trying to save up to stay out as LONG as possible.

I'm trying to stay out as long as possible too.

My due date is April10th but I'm having twins so that means March. I get 12 weeks FMLA then there is the summer (I'm a teacher)

Daycare for infant twins is going to be I make good money... been teaching for 10 years in my district but my course load is very demanding (AP and college level). It might just be 6 or one half dozen of the other financially if I can stay out another year. My MIL will be 69 and I think watching two infants is just too much on a daily basis.

My school has taken advantage of me for far too long. It's practically impossible for them to get a sub who is anywhere near qualified to teach my courses... oh, well... that's their problem.

We savedI can stay home for the 12 weeks and then I go back full-time- but my job will let 2 days a week be from home.

Me - I have 2 master degrees and an advanced degree, and I'm taking a board exam in November. I have put so much in my career and am well known in my filed. There is still so much more I want to do, so I will definitely be going back to work!

I am (thanks to good old Long Island house prices), but were hoping that my mom will be watching the baby for 3 weeks at a time, and then the other 3 weeks, DH will be home each day to play Mr. Mom. I'll be taking 6 weeks leave right after the birth. I'm not sure, but I think my boss might be willing to let me do 4 days a week, at least i'm hoping he is!

I will be staying at home. It will be tough.
Both sets of our parents still work full time and day care is ridiculous.
When the baby is a little older I might babysit at home to get some extra income and as soon as possible go back to work at least part time when the baby is school aged.

I am undecided if I am going to go back after 3 months (April) or wait until the next school year. It would only be 2 months more and I am going to try to save as much as I can so I can do that. That options sounds more appealing and since day care is so much both options would cost us the same amount.

Im taking off 3 to 4 months and then going back 2 days pt, I have my own business so I pretty much do what I want. I want to go back b/c I make good $$$$ and want to get out too.

I dont "have" to go back, DH wants me home but I feel getting out 2 days will be good for me!

Taking the three months off then going back to work three days in the office and two from home until my husband is off in July (he is a teacher) then I am back full time.
