Generally, at a silent auction, items are lined up on tables with a sign-up bid sheet. Bidders walk around the room, checking out the items. Each item has a minimum starting bid. If you want to bid, you write your bid # on the paper and the amount you want to bid. People can bid higher by adding their bid # and bid price to the sheet under yours. This continues for some period of time and at the end of that time, the bidding ends and whoever has the last bid on the sheet has won the item and pays for it when they leave.

If it's at like 8, we're good
If it's at 5, that might be more difficult

We will have the final details next week. We are looking to start the event around 6 so people can come right from work. It basically doesn't matter when you get there because all the items will be on display till about 8:30 or 9 and food will be out for that time as well. This is not a sit down so you can eat when ever you want and as much as you want. Look forward to seeing everyone there!
