Today will be day 6 of stims. If things keep progressing at the same rate, my retrieval will be early next week. Maybe even Saturday.

Okay, well now I'm confused.
Apparently my estrogen levels jumped since Sunday.
They just called to tell me to stop Gonal F and to take 75 units of low dose HcG tonight with 5 units of Lupron and to come back in tomorrow instead of Thursday for more bw/ and u/s.
My nurse is out of the office now, I don't feel like this is an "emergency" to call the pager line, but I feel a little panicked.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

A high estrogen level can be caused by cysts, which is you have PCOS makes sense. Like I had thought after your original post , some of your follies are likely indeed cysts. I Dont understand or know why the low dose of hcg?? I know the lupron will counteract it so you wont ovulate too soon.
They probably want to see what happens, which follies grow on ttheir own etc.
DONT PANIC!
High estrogen is sometimes a sign of overstimulation, but they can typically control it. I doubt your cycle will be cancelled , they would have told you.
Also, if you see some spotting, DONT panic. High estrogen sometimes cause spotting, it means nothing!!

You are probably close to hyper stimulation and they want to step you down. Same thing happened to me 5 days before retrieval.
Don't worry about it. they just want to give your ovaries a brake. They did that with me... a one day breather of no Follustum and then they put me back on 25 units the next day.

Hi girls. Thanks for thinking of me!
This morning's u/s showed 8-9 follies at 18, a few at 17-15 range and lots of little ones 12 and under. My ovaries were so full that the u/s actually hurt. 
They are waiting for the bloodwork to come back to decide if I trigger tonight or tomorrow night.
So my retrieval will be Friday or Saturday. Doesn't feel real yet!
