Mother's Day!
What are you ladies hoping for this Mother's Day coming up? I mean, besides the breakfast in bed and sleep in late

You are not going to believe this, but I want a $200 hair dryer!! My thoughts are that it would cut out so much of my time and I could have my whole head dry in 5 minutes!!

I told DH I wanted a "special" day planned.... like for the 3 of us to go somewhere.....But I guess we'll see...

The most important thing to me is just having a special day with the three of us also.

I want a wedding band. I have one that goes with my ering but its very very thin like my ering band so it looks stupid by itself.
I won't be surprised because I'll end up going to pick something out and it will be after mother's day since we'll be in Disney. I might convince DH for an eternity band of some kind since I didn't even get flowers or a card when I gave birth and nothing for Christmas. He owes me big time!!

Oh -- that's a GOOD idea! My wedding band doesn't match my e-ring since we wear my DH's parents' wedding bands -- they passed them onto us -- but I really want a band that is all my own and matches.
As IF he'd get it for me!!

I'm tearing up now!! I hope Joe comes home soon safe.
Honestly if DH gets me a card, it will be better than my birthday or xmas since he forgot to get one then. It would also be great for him to wake up with Nate at 7am and let me sleep in.

Aww Laurie - I hope he's home soon and safe and sound!
As for me... I want to go out for breakfast and maybe jewelry. I NEVER ask for jewelry but I think it would be nice to have something to always remember my first mother's day by.

Laurie - that's the best gift ever! I can't imagine how you do it.
My DH works Sundays so I have no expectations... he wants to go for a "nice" dinner, but his birthday is the week before and I'm taking him to Burton & Doyle's as a surprise... that's enough for me. That, and my 2 beautiful boys!

The best Mother's Day ever for me was when I had Andrew in 2004. He was the greatest gift and a total surprise (he was 3 weeks early). Now how awesome would it be if my little girls decides to arrive on Mother's Day this year???? It's not out of the question at all!
It's also so hectic because Andrew's birthday is May 9th and our anniversary is May 11th (4 years for us this year). So I always make out well because DH is very generous. But there is nothing I really need to want, so a card and some flowers would be perfect.

I asked for liposuction (LOL), but he said he might get me a treadmill. That'd be great. But if not, I'd like to be able to slepe in since I haven't done that in 14 1/2 months!!
