He's gorgeous - I love spiders! (I love that they eat all the other gross bugs  and the beautiful webs they weave.)

that is big. to make you feel better in Australia they have huuuge spiders and i did not know this. imagine my surprise when i walked in to THIS, on my kitchen counter. i thought it was a toy, then my roommate said oh that is just a huntsman. this picture is just a BABY. shown next to a hand to give you an idea. it isnt poisonous and they kill other bugs so they are good. it is the poisonous spiders that you have to watch out for....
What do you do if you see spiders this big? I can't just let them be...they must go out of my house!

When I saw Redhead had replied I was like wait a second...
I used to get this kind of spider (jumping spider) in my orchidarium in my house:
They are like the size of your pinky nail, don't build webs and will jump away from you if you approach. So I left him alone. I think the fact that they look like they have four eyes is pretty cool.
