it was sooo Hot today at work
I am so p-od they have NOT put the Air Condition on at work and it felt like a suana in their I really thought i was going to Pass out I hope they put it on soon( well the building managers in the college its not my boss's who are in control of it).

I feel badly for teachers. I remember as a kid how hot it got in school... and IMO, summers have been MUCH hotter the past few years. I can only imagine what it's like now

What annoys me about my school is that SOME teachers have A/c in their classrooms. I don't even have a window to the outside, so I can't even put one in if I wanted to. And the teachers with the a/c in their rooms STILL complain that it's hot

My classroom was so hot today!!!!! I actually had a few kids ask me if I could put on the AC....the poor little kindergarteners have no idea what they are in for over the next few weeks.

this is a heat wave, it will cool down starting tomorrow, tomorrow's high is only supposed to be 71 and it keeps going down later on in the week.

OMG I teach in peoples houses and have no say in what they put on. And sadly I have one psycho mom, who feels her son periodically through our session. If this kids skin feels cold..she thinks he is freezing...therefore I must be too..so she momentarily shut the fan..til I yelled and then..with it being 80+ degrees out side goes and puts a flannel shirt on her son!! I feel soo bad for this kid...I am constantly trying to teach him to say he is hot when mom walks in. She is soo cluesless. Just because your skin is cold does not mean you are cold. Oh and this woman was a doctor in Russia. Think a doctor would know things. Sorry to go on...but she bundles this kid up and then he is itchy, and hot and doesn't work..its sooo frustrating and we have to talked to the father and he won't say anything to his wife because he doesn't want to hurt her feelings. It was 60 last week and she had him in 4 shirts, two pairs of pants and two pairs of socks..can you say wacko...I am dreading teaching this kid in July!!

My office has AC going all year round. It must stay between 60 & 65 in my office (I work in the Computer Room of a large medical group.) Nice on the very hot days but I FREEZE in the winter.

I agree! I was outside from like 12:30 - 2:00 ( the hottest part of the day!!) standing in a cemetery where there was no shade and WEARING a black suit!

my students were complaining and complaining about the heat and that it was too hot to work. they all know my slogan by heart - "do the work now, because if you think it's hot now, just wait until July & August".

My room was SOOO hot until I convinced my coteacher that her mess all over the air conditioning vents was preventing the cool air from getting in.
I can NOT wait for the next 20 school days to be over!!!
