Look What I Made- Repost from Parenting
My friends all know how much I love to draw and "Party Plan". I always hand-make all the decorations, invitations and favors for my kids parties....and now I'm branching out. A friend of mine is having a "Little Mermaid" themed party for her daughter and asked me to make the decorations (when else can I draw these cute characters...I have boys!) Of course I was happy to oblige and if I do say so myself...I think they came out pretty cute! Take a look:

I used to always love doing characters when I was younger. I haven't even tried in a while. I am hoping its like "riding a bike" so I can decorate my kids rooms when I have them!!

Thanks so much! I love to do this! I have drawn decorations for every one of my kids' parties. Now they decorate my boys' playroom. Some of what I have drawn in the past are:
Sesame Street Characters
Monster's Inc.
Scooby Doo
Blue's Clues
Luau Theme
I even sold my Luau drawings on Ebay! The other ones...I can't part with!

I tell ya...all my friends tell me all the time to advertise and sell my decorations, party supplies, invitations and favors. I just don't know how to go ahead and start up something like that.
I used to work in a children's party place (with rose825....aka Pauline). I also was an early childhood teacher for 7 years. You need a partner...you found your chika!!

Thanks...but how would I go about starting up a business like this? One that sells party decorations, favors and invitations? I would love to! I am a SAHM and would love to earn some extra $$!

Oh boy...here goes a debate! Why is Snow White the BEST? If it's because she hangs with 7 guys, then OK. But she wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Who eats an apple given to them buy an old homeless looking chick? Not too smart!
