He Arrived! UPDATED
Our beautiful baby boy Robert Benjamin was born 12/17 @ 10:24am via c-section
8lbs 1 oz 21.5 inches
we just got home today..will post more info later..
Thanks so much everyone! here are some more pics..my story ....
I was scheduled to be induced on 12/16 and we got there and I got hooked up to the machines to find out I was already contracting on my own, obviously not much for me to feel..so they waited and I ended up getting petocin which brought on horrible contractions every 2 minutes for an hour, which felt like eternity..at that point the epidural was done..the BEST thing ever! tried to relax and rest but 10 minutes later my water broke while just lying in bed..they monitored the babys heartbeat internally on his head and everytime i had a contraction his heartrate would drop then pick up..so my docter suggested c-section as not to take any chances...
Yes, it was very quick I got let out after only 2 nights..I have to say it wasn't bad at all..I was up and walking around that night..however Percocet is my bestfriend at the moment-LOL..
