UPDATE: Jacob
Hey Girls, just wanted to give you the update on Jacob since much has happened in the past week. First of all I took him to the Dr on Tues for the rash that he had and it was nothing serious (not chickenpox) thank God! Dr. thinks it was allergy to my sister in laws cats since she watched him all day on Monday and Monday night was when i noticed it. So she gave me cream and it has gone away.
Wednesday I took him to the Pediatric Neurologist and it turns out he has Torticollis and a "slightly" mishaped head. So now i have to take him to Physical therapy for his neck and I had to take him for a skull xray on thursday to make sure the sutures were still open. 
The Dr. said they normally order an MRI but he wants to hold off (yeah cause i wasnt gonna do it anyway) b/c he will need to be sedated and the doc said he wants to wait a month or so to see if the condition improves with PT. He also wants to see if his head shape improves or he may need to wear a helmet to help with the shaping.
So I have been doing my own exercises with his neck in the meantime. He favors the left side. And the dr said it prob got worse because he slept in his carseat for 2 months and his neck was always crooked. Great! I F'ed my kid up!!!!!!!!!
I also bought the noggin nest and it seems to be helping. I use it in his bouncy seat and his swing and the car seat and when he sleeps at night in his crib. So i am noticing the back of his head is starting to round out a bit. Thank God!!!! Hopefully it shapes itself on its own cause i really dont want him to get the helmet. Just what this poor baby needs.. more issues!!!! And his poor mother...

We have a family friend whose child had torticollis & had to wear the helmet for a little while, now he's doing absolutely GREAT!

Good Luck! You did nothing wrong. Carlie was diagnosed with Torticollis. Ther Nurologist insisted I did nothing wrong and it can be corrected. She is being evaluated by the State for PT on Wednesday. If she does not qualify (they have their own way of diagnosing) then we have to do it through our insurance. Have you looked into early intervention? What is a noggin nest ?

Thanks girls for all your support! I just feel guilty now about how he slept in his car seat for so long. But it was the only thing that helped his acid reflux! Ughhh.. if its not one thing its another. A noggin nest is made by the boppy company and it is like a headrest for infants but there is a hole in the center and it is cushiony on the edges. His head rests on it and the back of his head sits in the hole so to speak so that it doesnt touch any surface while he is on his back. It gives the back of the head time to "breathe" and round out, so they arent always laying on it and flattening it out. Seems to be working. I picked it up at BRU for about 10 bucks.

I have had quite a few infants in my day care who have had this. it has always corrected itself with therapy. Do not blame yourself at all. You were doing the best for his reflux, how is that being a bad Mommy

Kevin had a C-scan to determine if his sutures were closed also and his head is a bit flat in the back. Everything turned out fine and I'm sure Jacob will be fine also.

Same here. I know a little boy who wore a helmet for a while, and he is fine now!

my nephew had to wear a helmet for a few months too, and his head looks Great now!! it was cute too- it had little trucks and stuff on it, and he was completely oblivious to it.
