I bought my first apt. (co-op) when I was 24 - my second apt. when I was 26 both on my own. I bought my house with my DH when I was 28.

We both owned seperate homes/condo's before we were together..I bought my house at 23yrs he bought his apt at 20!! -House mid 20's (back in the day when there was a lot of $$ to be made working construction wiith FIL & going to college  )
Fast foward to today,we have our house for almost 5 yrs,it was new construction but we are constantly doing monthly projects  not a good sign.
We still kept his "pre-me" house and rent it out to,believe it or not, a FRAT!

With my ex-husband - at 28, he was 26.
After my divorce in 2001, i got my co-op on my own in 2002.
Sold it in 2004, moved in with DH who had bought his house at 30 I think...
