There was a valid reason. His design BLEW and it was unfinished. Angela was being a complete sppiled brat, butt hen again Vincent didn't even let her really work on it and in the end the dress came out fine.... I think the finished product is more important than the teamwork, and their gown (rgardless of what her participation actually was) was 100 times better than Malan's. They were only on that runway because of ehr attitude, not because of the garment.

I think Malan's dress's biggest flaw was the color- I think it had potential. Also, he was toast as soon as they saw that the bottom wasn't hemmed. It was an ambitious idea that didn't work.
Am I the only one who liked Ulli's dress MUCH more? I thought it was so sophisticated. But Miss USA seemed to prefer pouf.

OMG NO...the dress looked like a big DOG POOP. I mean there was absolutely NOTHING appealing about the dress at all
I DID like the dress she choose...And i did love Ulli'e dress but it wasn't really a pagent dress

Someone on Television Without Pity described Malan's dress as something "made by Keebler elves after a fudge explosion" which made me  . That was probably the best description ever!

it really was awful... and he freaked me out, I definitely thought they were going to keep him on the show for a longer period of time--his squinty eyes scared me!!!

I agree. Ulli's dress was stunning, just not for a pagent, but it was amazing. I did like the dress she choose, but I really wasn't in love with the color.
