We share a lot of it- I do more because I tend to wake up when she cries and he sleeps through it, but he does a lot and always gets up when I ask him to.

All I can say is my DH is a godsend. He always gets up with the babies. He usually tries to soothe them back to sleep, and when that doesn't work, I get up and feed them.
Weekends we split - one sleeps in and the other gets up.

No he didn't. It was always me was during the week since his job would be dangerous if he was sleep deprived on it. The last thing I would want was to him handling electrical wires tired. Weekends, he'd occasionally get up.

I am lucky in the fact that DD has been sleeping through the night since she was 6 weeks. I got up during the week and DH did Fri night into Sun. I wanted him to have sleep for a job that requires alot of him. Didnt want him working with heavy machinery exhausted. I was sleep deprived but I am home so I thought this was only fair....

My DH helps a LOT! I would say tht it is about equal. ANd on Saturdays it's my day to sleep in, on sundays his day to sleep in.

I don't know what I would do without him!

We do the exact same thing!!!! My DH really helps me out alot with the baby - I guess I trained him wellChat Icon

Yes, thankfully. He's the type who doesn't need a lot of sleep (I am so opposite!) and he is up. Luckily, and knock on wood, Lauren is now sleeping through the night, getting up around 6-7 a.m. I usually end up getting up then to feed her, DH gets up and gets ready for work.

We always shared night time duties....but now my son only wants DH at night (this has been for ahwile now)....so he has to get up...I try but he goes nuts and wants daddy. But if my son is up - I can't sleep anyway - so I sit in bed awake feeling bad....

When DH was home for the 2 weeks of Paternity leave, he sometimes woke up during the night. He claims he didn't hear our son SCREAMING in the middle of the nightChat Icon Chat Icon I was BFing then so it's not like he could've done much anyway.

Now, our son sleeps through the night and I either feed him when he wakes or my grandmother does. My grandmother babysits him during the day.

On the weekends, I usually wake up with our son, but DH does sometimes.

Since I BFed both my kids I had to wake up, but we would alternate who would get up and change the diaper first to every other feeding.
