Not just milk - room-temperature milk. To this day, I will not drink a glass of milk and if I have cereal, the milk must be right of the refrigerator. I cannot let it stand on the counter at all. My daughter thinks I'm nuts.

Mine did.
DH just asked me this the other day. I thought everyone did. He didn't because his mom was raised Kosher in her house and no meat with dairy.
He got to drink soda Darn, if I only knew that then I could have said to my parents... "Well, all of the Jewish kids get to drink soda... waaaaaaaah"
LOL...this is what i was going to post. I never had milk with dinner! No milk and meat!
Me too! We didn't keep a kosher home (more "kosher style  ) but the thought of milk and meat always creeped me out. Always soda or water

ME!!! The only time we didnt have to drink milk was if we had pasta with sauce b/c even my dad had to admit that was just gross.

Nope, no milk in our house
we were allowed either ginger ale (no other types of sodas) or water with dinner -
