In a lot of ways they are a like. Everyone comments that I married someone just like my dad. There are plenty of ways they are not alike though!

I don't remember my father....he passed away of cancer when I was a baby...but what I think is interesting is my mom tells me how much my DH is like my father. Very passive, calm, loving etc... Even though I don't remember my father ...maybe I somehow remember the qualities he possessed....or maybe since my mother and I are so much alike it would only be normal to also marry the same kind of man...personallity wise.
