The Price of a Brick Patio and stoop!-Updated

I can't believe that it's that much money. I've gotten quotes from $7500-12K!

Is this really the case? If you don't mind me asking..is this in line with what you paid?

I don't know if I want to use pavers or nassau brick or stamped concrete or something else! All I know is that my patio is a mess and could potentially be a safety hazard.

We knew we were going to fix this when we bought, but who knew it would be this much?!

Our patio, which was pavers, cost in that range that you are getting.

We had a patio and porch area put in - cost 8K - but it was my uncle's company that did it so I got a discount. I think it would have cost closer to 10K if someone else did it.

I'm not really sure how much work it entails, but we got our walk way done with a step to the door and flower beds on both sides. It was around $3600. I can give you the guys info. if you are interested.

we had the patio, our driveway and our front steps done at the same time and the whole job was $25k. Our patio is about 1100 sq ft and the driveway is about 1500 square feet. the whole job was about 3000 square feet. (that includes the front step and porch and the walkways)

Re: The Price of a Brick Patio and stoop!

It's crazy we paid about $12k for driveway & front walk (paver's w/ Belgium border) and custom front stoop it's a little bigger then standard.

P.S (this was all DH's doing) I would have done other things first but I'm picking my battles!! We will be in this house FOREVER w/ all the $ he keeps dumping into itChat Icon

Very nice..yes, it's nuts. The brick dude is coming tonight for an estimate.

I may have to do this in two pieces..patio and stoop and then the other stoop in a few months..

Thanks, this work was donr last year and we're still paying him off. That and a few other projects. We're hoping to have him do a back patio maybe August. We had to split it up

You were able to make a payment plan? Is that even something I can negotiate? that would really help!
