DO you think it's 100% necessary to put pictures on MLSLI.com
The realtor I am thinking of using will do whatever I want. But he recommends NOT putting pics up. He does not put pics up of any of his homes, just the main front shot. He feels many potential buyers will discredit a house by the pictures, that it is better to try and get them in there and feel the space, see the property etc...
On one hand I agree, that some houses I look at the pics and say no way! Even though it may be better in person. Other times the houses are so much worse than the pictures and I am disappointed.
However, I love to look at the pictures, I feel it saves me time from looking at something I KNOW I would not be interested in.
What do you guys think?

I would rather go see a house that I've seen pictures of first. So, if I saw a listing with no pictures, I'd think the house was probably a mess and wouldn't waste my time.

I agree - as soon as I see no pics - I assume that they are hiding something, that the house is 
I have never seen an inside of a house that was in good condition that had no pics up.
I would at least put a pic of the kitchen a bathroom and living room.

I think you should definetly put pics in! When I was looking at houses I looked at all the pics. In fact our house had pics on it. We went to an open house that we saw listed there and if the pictures werent there we might not have even gone to look at it since it was little bit above our price range. In the pictures they had a fireplace (something I always wanted but most homes in Levittown don't have) and I saw the nice big kitchen!

I would put up pics.
Just make sure they are clear, good photos. I see so many and wonder why in the heck did they take a picture of that?
At least livingroom, kitchen and baths and front of the house.
If I don't see kitchen or baths I assume it needs updating.
BTW: My house had no interior pics and if you saw the before pics on my makeover thread you know why

Me too.. I would never go look at a house that I couldn't see the pics of inside first.

When we were looking for a home, I was constantly on MLSLI. and if I saw a listing w/o pictures I assumed there was no pics cuz it was crappy inside. I would def post pics of the inside of your home.

Without a doubt put pics in. Speaking as both an agent and a past buyer - I wouldn't even show/look at a house that doesn't have inside pics. Especially with all the inventory out there now - people have so much to choose from it is very important to have pics!

totally agree!
DH and I saw a handful of houses that had no pics online and they were all HORRIBLE! so now, we won't go look at a house unless we see pics of the inside first. we feel it is a waste of time, based on our experience.

I never look at houses w/o pics, I feel that they are hiding something if there are no pics--The pics I think can only make people more interested!!!!

I think it is important to use the right pics. High ceilings, rooms with lots of light, a nice backyard.
My only issue with adding pics are people who alter the pics to look wider. I tend to instantly discredit the house.

I agree and have already experienced that..no pics of the bathrooms...and now I know why 
But sometime the pics do LIE too. They can make rooms look better than they really are.Been there as well.

Absolutely post pics. Alot of times I don't even give a house with no pics on MLS a second thought. I assume they look like hell inside. If I see pics and even if they are not the greatest, I am more likely to give the house a chance if it has other qualities that I'm interested in (location, low taxes, etc).
