Just curious what the average age is.

We had planned to start 28-30, however looks like that is going to be delayed.

I was ready to start last year but we got delayed too.

I'd like to start at around 26. That way we'll be married for at least 3 years, and we'll have a better idea of where we'll be settling.

i was going to wait until i was 30, but i think we want to start by the end of this school year (ill be 28). we are going to see how this year goes, any new bills, etc.

i didnt think id be ready so quickly! but we will have been married for over 2 years by then and in our house for almost 2 years.

i always thought my house needed to be expanded when i had my kids, but now i dont care if i have a baby first and then expand. that was a big deciding factor.

I am 33 and we will start in the next few months. But I didn't meet DH till I was 31 and we got married when I was 32. If things had been different I would have liked to start at or close to 30.

I have no idea. DH is 28 and I'm 30 but we are in no way ready to have a baby.

We are figuring to start trying at the end of next year but it is so scary and I feel like we are never going to have enough money. By the end of next year I will be 33 & DH 36 I feel like we are getting to old but we really do want kids.

DH and are going to start trying in Decemeber.. so that would make me 31 and him 35.

FH and I will be married at 24-

If all goes well, he should be tenured about 6 months after the wedding, so as soon as we have a decent place to live, we can't WAIT to have kids. (I voted between 25-27)

growing up, I swore I'd have my 2 kids before I was 30. We got married when I was 26 and PG with the first now at 27 and I'll be 28 when I deliver.

So maybe I can still do it....but maybe I'll wait a little longer for #2

We plan to start TTC at 28-30. I'm sure I'll get baby fever sooner than that, so it may change, but we're in no hurry to have kids

We're planning on starting to TTC when I'm about 29 or 30. I'm 26 now, so that gives us a few years. I need to finish my doctorate first and get a job so that we can finally have two incomes!

TTC @ 25 for both of us. Had our son @26.
We found out we were pregnant on our 2nd Anniversary!

We are going to start TTC in Oct so I will be 30 and DH will be 34.

I want to start TTC at 31, have #1 (hopefully a girl who I will name Katherine Ann), then three years later a boy who we will name William James.

I will finish my doctorate at 29 , and we married at 26. So we have a few years to travel after I finish my degree and start making more $.

We got married at 24 and dh 25 and started ttc right away because we were told by the doctors it would take a year and then medication. 2 months later i found out i was PG. I am due in 20 days and then we close on our house a month later. I feel like we got a lot done this year. ( I have been with DH for 6 1/2 years so we knew we wanted a family and a home right after we got married.)

i WANT to TTC NOW.....
BUT........ i wont. I am only 21 and I didnt start to "live" until a couple of years ago. I really think I need time for myself.
I know it sounds corny, but I want to learn more about myself before i start to ttc.
plus, we're still in debt right now. the bills should be paid off in like 4.5 years.

i think i will start at 24 or 25.
and i want to get pregnant in winter so i can have a summer/early fall baby
