I never really thought about it, but yeah, I guess we were similar. I say "were" because she passed away from cancer in October of 2004. We both are/were very strong minded, determined, loyal, funny, "life of the party", affectionate, loving. Of course we were different in many ways as well, but always got along beautifully.
I miss her alot.

Nope not at all...We are nothing alike
She is 5'9 dark hair...laid back
I am 5'2 red hair...high strung
Although i heard the opposite...
women marry their dads
i think my DH is very similar to my dad (not in appearance but in personality)

DEFINITELY NOT in my case!
my MIL is the stereotypical Italian mamma. she loves to cook (and is very good at it), loves to host dinner parties and is extremely domestic. I like none of those things 
she's also very nosy and gossipy, which I am not - well, outside of LIF anyway

not at all
shes a very traditional italian woman who looks like snow white and is very home maker ish - also very "innocent" and VERY SENTIMENTAL
i am blonde, i have a mouth like a sailor, i work 12 hours a day, there is nothing innocent about me and i dont save much of anything for sentimental value....however i do cook but i make more modern things - his mom makes things like shake and bake and canned veggies
we just have completely different styles
