I used to have that done years ago but my new gyno doesnt do that. I "think" that is old school and he is not a old creepy guy!! 
I'm really hoping it is legitimate! Thanks! Do you remember what it was testing for? I can't remember!
I have never had that BUT my roomate in college once told me that she had that done...which was why I was initially terrified to go to the gyno

I've had this done by my regular doctor once and by my OBGYN once and they were both men, with women nurses in the room. And they let me know before that they were doing this.
