Sleep question w/ poll
Kinda wierd question.. Dh and I switched last night and I slept terribly.. do you have a side that you prefer? Being on the Right/Left? or does it not matter?

We fought over this when we first moved in together. We both wanted the left side. But I wound up giving in and taking the right. Now I'm very happy with it. He tends to sleep on his right side, so I like that I can look over at him and watch him sleep rather than see the back of his head.

I like the left in our bed, but that's because I like being closest to the door. He has to walk all the way around the bed.

I need to be furthest away from the door.
I feel more protected that way.
Although DH sleeps like a log, so a serial killer could probably break in, play a song on the accordian, set off some fireworks, do a tap dance THEN kill me and DH wouldn't wake up.

Right side of the bed.
The TV is on the left side of the room and DH has to watch TV before he goes to bed. I prefer it off, so I sleep on the right and most nights turn away from him (and the TV) to fall asleep.

From the perspective of lying in the bed, I prefer the right side. I sleep on my right side and prefer that vantage point.

We have clocks on both sides, each with an alarm! We actually each has 2 alarms, for a total of 4 alarms. But in a hotel this is always an issue!
