Back from the doctor, finally.
So, we got some unexpected news today at my dr.'s appt. It seems that after weeks of being in position, Ava decided sometime in the last two weeks to turn herself into a breech position. There is no hope of her turning back since she does not have enough room or amniotic fluid to do so. So, I have been schedule for a c-section this coming Monday.
I'm really upset, but basically just because I was totally unprepared to hear that today. I know it's best for the baby, and I am happy to know when she will be here, but I've never had surgery before and I am terrified.  So, that's my update.

Sorry Rachel I've never had a c-section but from what I've read on the board it doesn't seem too bad. I understand your fear though, I've had surgery and you can't help but be anxious. Just know that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Try to keep in mind that in just a few days you'll have your little girl in your arms

something very similar happened to me as well. i went for my sono at 32 weeks, everything was great, baby was head down. well, along came my due date and no baby, so i went to the office for a quick sono and a non stress test. well during the sono, i hear the doctor say, "ummmmm when did this happen?". i freaked, he looked at me and said "your baby is breech, looks like we are having a baby today". i was scheduled for a csection that very day. it was the best day of my life!!! the csection was so quick and easy. it was the best thing for me and my dd. i wouldnt have changed a thing. and the same will be for you. congrats!!!! you will be a mommy on monday.
