My Father has this right now, I posted about 2 weeks ago, he had to have the shock wave treatment that crushes them up, they still haven't passed though !!
What are they doing for him?

Well, I just spoke to him last night and all they did was give him percocet for the pain. He'll be seeing a urologist later this week and they are hoping they will just pass on their own within a week.
Worst part for him was that he had just gotten a job and they were going to administer a drug test today. They are insisting that he take it anyway even though drugs are obviously going to appear in his system. AND he starts his senior year at college today.

He has kidney stones! 
Please send prayers that they pass quickly...I haven't been able to talk to him yet but I know he's in alot of pain.

I've had Kidney Stones and they are no picnic, I'm sorry your brother is going through this. I hope he will be able to pass them, if the doctor is telling him that then the stone is probably not that big. I wish him luck
