I cannot stop shopping-- come and look and tell me what you think..
A week from today I am leaving for Jamaica to SIL's wedding.. I have bought a couple of dresses and also had some stuff that I could wear...
I am a BM in the wedding-- but we can wear whatever we want. These are my choices..
Dress #1 I got tonight. It's a size too big and it needs to be altered- but it's really cute and a perfect balance of casual and dressy.
Dress # 2 I posted last week-- it's got a nice cut to it, but the print I feel is a little casual. Also, while I am dieting- it's a touch too tight, so I am afraid to rely on it.
# 3-- This is probably the dressiest option. Microfiber tank top and a very dressy skirt. It's silk, tuile and black beading-- definitely evening wear. The red shoes give it a little bit of quirkiness which I love.
SIL is wearing a full on formal bridal gown. Groom and GMs are wearing tan linen suits-- no ties on the GMs. The wedding will be on a deck overlooking the ocean, and the reception will be indoors.

I would go with option 1 or 2 (2 may be my favorite - but it is a close tie). It sounds like a great wedding!

they are all cute!!
i would bring them all and then the day of see which one im in the mood to wear... but im also the super bad over packer who ends up having to pay a fortune at the airport for goin over the weight limit

I love the third one, but for a Jamaica beach wedding, I'd go with #2 (sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear)

well-- we are overpackers too!!
Also, I think option # 3 is the most flattering. and #1 still needs to be altered.

They're all cute but I think #1 is my fave and IMO looks the most appropriate for the wedding you described.

I have only seen one other BM's dress and it's a full on dress-- pink lacy thing with the ribbon on the waist. That's the only thing that;s making me feel I need to be more dressy-- and not like totally cas.

I really like #1 and #3 for a wedding----I feel they both have a dressier look to them (not that #2 isnt nice also) but I would also pack all 3 dresses ( I am a huge over packer) and see how I feel the day of or even just to see what the other bridesmaids were wearing.

Then I'd definitely go with #1, also since the 1 dress you saw was more bridesmaidy.

they all look super cute. i like #1 or #2 for day and then how about a change for the reception?
my girlfriends did this at my wedding---wore something casual at church and more formal at the reception...
btw, where did you get everything?
