I would just be honest with her. Suggest that she bring a friend and tell her you think she will get bored being all by herself. Make sure she knows that your and your DH want to have time to yourselves, but if she is there, want to see her too. Maybe she should just come for a couple of days instead of an entire week. Make sure she understands that YOUR intentions are still the same...

Hanging out together "some nights" its totally fine and would be fun. More than that... would be too much IMO. Make sure she understands that this is your vacation with DH. I think you two do need some time together (every couple does).

DH and I just went to Miami last weekend and it was great to just refresh ourselves and rediscover some romance... We all just get caught up in the daily of grind of life....

i was thinking that would be a great solution as well, she came for a few days rather than a week or whatever they were originally going to stay.

i asked her if she could bring a friend and she said she didnt think so... i found that rather odd.

oh well, its not really my problem. i dont know why im trying to resolve it.

If it were me, I'd probably not go or I'd bring another friend along with me.
I would not offer my room. Sorry.
You and dh need that alone time. I would definitley suggest to her to bring another friend along and you can meet at certain points of the day and do things together.

Jess I agree with a lot of the girls here, given the recent situation you had with your DH, a nice trip sounds great. Especially in Vegas where you got married....
