My Dad passed away, Updated
My father's 13 month battle with brain cancer ended last night. My mother, my aunt and myself were with him as he peacefully went. I just wanted to come on real quick and thank everyone who sent  and  throughout the year on my previous posts about him.

Update: First I want to thank you all for your kind words and hugs and prayers. It really lifts my spirits! We buried my dad yesterday. I couldn't get over the amount of people that came for the wake and furneral. It was standing room only! The outpouring of love was overwhelming. My father was a great man and was truly loved. He was a retired Lieutenant for the NYPD, 30 years on the job. Well because he was so loved his buddies arranged for a police escort to the cemetary and they even STOPPED traffic on the southern state parkway for the funeral procession. I'm sure it annoyed some people but it was such an amazing honor for my dad. We were all very touched.
