Gilmore Girls Semi Spoiler- Something is happening, but I don't know to whom...
One of our favorite Gilmore girls is about to discover that she has a lot in common with Michelle Williams' character in Brokeback Mountain.
Who do you think it is???

ok, she's not maried yet, but they are living together.
It woudn't be Suki wuldn it? That would be too controversial for that show, I think, with the kids & everything.

I don't think its an actual Gilmore. I hate to say it, but I think its Babette and Morrie. Notice he was absent in last nights episode because he was away somewhere...
If thats the case, I think its sad. I always loved them as a couple. I loved seeing a big girl with this cool, skinny man. Remember the episode when Cinnamon died. They were always so sweet to one another.

In Brokeback Mountain, Michelle William's charachter is married to Heath Ledger... so if you know anythign about the movie ... that's the spoiler.
I guess its a spoiler in a spoiler. Maybe I am being too precautious. Just didn't want to offend/surprise/upset anyone.

ETA: OK- Let's just say that Michelle William's played Heath Ledger's wife in Brokeback Mountain- THat is how they met (and now they are married in real life).

I thought he was dead or gone. He is never seen and hasn't been mentioned since the episode when Lane is going to Korea and thinks she isn't coming back- that;s also the episode of Lorelei and Max's shower.
Damn I watch those reruns too much.

I think he is never mentioned b/c Mrs. Kim is funnier alone. It sort of seems like in the begining there was goign to be one, but it didnt' fit, so they never bring him up, but it would have made more sense if he had passed away before before the show started.
A divorce wouldn't be fitting for Mrs. Kim. . .
So, this might be away to do away with the question of that character. . .

I completely agree.... Thy definitely make some mistakes and choices.
The actress who plays April's mom was on teh show before as Jess' dad's girlfriend in California.
Also- at the beginning of the show, Kirk doesn't know who Ms. Patty is and yells at her in the supermarket. Then in a recent episode Kirk re-acts a dance he did when he was a little kid for Ms. Patty.

Yeah, it's weird b/c we were watching the first season, and it seemed like Kirk was a completely different character
As far as Babette and Morrie - she said last night that he was home sick b/c she made him drink like 30 bottles of soda the night before for the carnival booth, but then didn't end up using those bottles anyway.

Yeah, I think they just don't have the actor on the show, but it isn't important enough to write him out of the show.
