This is a convo I had with a complete stranger a couple of days b/4 I had my son.
Stranger: Aww, congratulations
Me: Thanks
Stranger: do you know what you're having?
Me: Yes a Boy.
Stranger: Oh I thought girl b/c you know they say when you're having a boy your belly only gets big and when you're having a girl you get big all over.
I just looked at her and walked away. If she wasn't an old lady I would've ripped her a new one.
*** is wrong with people? I was 38.5 weeks preggo what am I supposed to look like? You can never win. If you're small people will talk and say you're not eating enough, if you're big people will say you're pigging out.

My daughter, sister, friend is the same ammount of weeks as you and she is still in
regular clothes.
or
you get bigger everyday.

I get this all the time too.
I like "Any Day Now Huh?"...no actually i have another 2 months...but thanks.
I find that so far it's only been men who says this and i write it off to them being men.

OMG, I get the second one all the time!!!!!
Also, my grandma tells me on an almost daily basis "I only gained 20 lbs with your dad and my feet only started swelling in the very last month." That was 50 years ago, who cares?

my MIL means well and we really get along well, but she still slips with stupid comments and doesnt realize it.
With each pregnancy, she starts her EVERY DAY phone calls (yes every single day!!) of redundant stupid questions "how are you, how are the boys, how are you feeling, hows the baby in belly, anything yet? just small talk stupid questions that I CANT TAKEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I just go finefinefinefine in one big breath and she gets the hint quick
then the other day she called and she goes "SOOO, ya getting bigger every minute ???" how annoying
then when baby comes, come her phone calls EVERY DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
"how are you feeling, hows my grandson, are you getting any rest, i hope youre putting your feet up, and everythings ok ?"
OMGGG my family, we're just get to the point, no cute and pretty small talk !!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
so needless to say my ringer will be turned off quite often in the next month  
with my first pregnancy Id feel bad NOT picking up (and we didnt have caller ID back then) so Id pick up and cut her off from talking and go "fine fine yes yes fine fine yes yes yes", can ya tell we're up front with eachother

The one that really annoys me is when SIL, who has 2 not-very-well-behaved kids, tells us: "See what you have to look forward to?" Or "You'd better have your fun now because it's all over soon." Sooooo annoying!!! I just want to say "It'll be different with us because my husband will actually help me" (unlike hers who won't lift a finger other than to smack his kids every once in awhile.)

my most  is after i gave birth I took my dd to a wedding for a girl I worked with and as I excused myself to bf her in private(guy co workers/guests all around) a guy yells out SO does that baby have stretch marks on her lips yet dolly parton?
