I have another question about more TMI related stuff and my HSG and Ovulating...and chart
OK so I had my HSG Monday. Yesterday was I will spotting and it was brownish tinted (old blood from when the HSG was done). CM was not unusual otherwise.
Now, more TMI...I just went to the bathroom and CM is really EW and thick...and there was a little bright red blood in it.
Did I O today???? It's very early and I havent even taken an OPK (but I have one with me) because I didnt think I was due for a few more days. What should I do? Here is my chart - really tells NOTHING at all though - except my temps dropped this morning...I don't know what to think! I am trying to drunk water so I can POAS and take my OPK soon! kathy, because you had a chemical last pregnancy....you could be ovulating earlier. Whenever, your AF is delayed.....it doesn't usually interfere with follicular development. In other words.....you end up ovulating earlier....the next cycle....because your AF....would have come sooner. Does that make any sense ?
I ovulated....I believe cd11 this cycle. Start using those opks and get that bding going :)

Oh geeze! Talk about pressure!! I have to fill up my bladder, POAS, run home, grab DH and BD!!! 
I'm going to take a OPK after lunch - after I drink lots of water and have to pee again.
I am feeling weird pangs of pain in my abdoment, do you think its possible my O pains are different this month since I had the HSG?

Not sure the hsg, makes your ovulation feel different. However, every month it could just feel a bit different.

hmm...I dont want to add worry to it, but I think you should maybe run it past your dr.
I say this b/c when I was PG and had an infection, those were my exact signs..the heavy EW CM and slightly blood tinged. BEcause you just had an HSG and there is a higer risk of infection afterwards, you really wanna rule that out before BD'ing , as if its untreated could delay you a LOT.
Also, as far as O'ing this early...you did have the CP last month, BUT AF came for you based on us thinking is was Sunday due..what a day late? SO..I dont know if you would O on CD 10...thats kinda early, even for me, who has more often then not normal 26-28 day cycles.
I could be completly wrong, but thats my opinion. I think the Dr/Nurse would be able to sense right off the bat if you need an antibiotic.
I would assit on asking to speak to the Dr, and tell her what CD your on, your CM issues, and pain.
GOOD LUCK
ETA- a dip in temp actually also can signify infection..most would think temp would rise..like fever with infection, but usually its the opposite. When I had my infection my temps while PG dropped to the 96 range, thats what helped them pinpoint it.

Well I took an OPK and it's not positive. I haven't had any other discharge since earlier. I will call my doctor as see what she says if I dont start feeling different soon (I may as well call the Pope because my doctor never gets back to me)

Dont I know it..Im still waiting on the NEW DR who prescribed me a re-called rug to call me back. I called when they opened this AM, and they close in 50 minutes, NO CALL! I swear I want to flip sometimes, I get so mad!
Good luck Kathy. Give it a day or two, if you still have discharge, call the dr...or call her now, since it will take her two days to get back to you.

Ugh Kathy , I am sorry .. I feel your frustration and dont blame you for wanting some answers NOW! Maybe its just us .. is it soooo unusual for us to expect that doctors would bother taking a few precious moments (esp. after you had the HSG) to call you and discuss your results? And now , would it be TOO MUCH TO ASK that your doc talk to you to make sure what you are now experiening is normal? 
TRUST ME I know all about loser doctors lately ... I am STILL waiting to see mine and they postponed my appointment again next week . .I am ready to scream

I'm so sorry! YOU deserve better service - we ALL DO! This is insane.
I am not holding my breath that my dr will call me and I am pretty certain that I wont actually get to talk to her until my appointment on Tuesday. And let me tell you - I'm making a LIST!

Yeah the office screwed up, the doctor isn't going to be in NEXT monday so now II'm pushed off until NEXT THURS, one damn week from today
I better get TBAF before then(I cannot believe I just said that  ) so that I dont have to think about this from now 'till then
Kathy I'm more aggravated for you than for me, quite honestly! (and Donna's lousy docs too, but I've already told her that by email too many times  )

Ladies, I am not sure if you understand how important it is to go to an RE, and not a gyn/ob when trying to conceive. A lot of you are not being tested correctly....and when you are being tested, the doctor is leaving out important details , like antibiotics !!!!

I just posted this on another thread but thought it would be good here too.
Go to a dr. you feel comfortable with now. I have been trying for two years and although I could have gone to an RE a year ago, I did not feel ready. I especially was not EMOTIONALLY ready to accept that I was suuffering from IF.
An RE CAN help more than an OBGYN but if your OBGYN is good you can continue to go to them for some preliminary testing.

I agree Deb...Im hesitant to jump to an RE because I feel that the OBGYN is qualified to help me, and I just need one Im more comfortable speaking with, talking to about TTC.
My apprehension is to go see a RE and get PG quickly, go back to my OBGYN...its too many Dr's etc for me just yet.
I would rather find a more agressive OBGYN and give a few goes at it, and then if needed seek out a RE.
