Ok, I bought the idiot's knitting kit.

I'm going to attempt to idiotically knit something tonight with the "Nifty Knitter". I felt like a total wad buying it and the 16 yr. old kid ringing me up was like, "OOOOO, I LOVE the nifty knitter!" And somehow, I didn't doubt him

does it work for complete idiots like myself? My grandma showed me how to do it with needles, and I picked it up...but haven't touched them since she left

I did the same thing when I was pg....I swore up and down that I was going to make a blanket for the baby. DH just laughed. I tried but I just didn't get the hang of it.

Ok, seriously, this is the easiest freaking thing I've ever done! It's done on a loom-type thing and it's stupidly easy!

Where did you get it? How much did it cost?

I taught myself to knit...and I made a blanket for my best friend for her baby...but I don't think I can do anything that's not flat (scarves and blankets)

i just started knitting and I LOVE it, I actually bought a kit from target for ages 8 and up and I'm starting ti make shawls and wraps!!! I'm addicted, I've spent about $50 on yarn in the past 3 days

Ok, I did not finish the hat last night because I started to feel those lovely things called Braxton Hicks contractions But I will absolutely finish it today and post pics. The whole kit only cost me 13 bucks, then I bought the yarn separately and two little books for a dollar each. It's so easy!

I'm taking classes over the summer in a ladies backyard in Ronkonkoma, let me know if you want info, she is a skilled knitter, she just knit my son his st patty's day sweater with knit from Ireland, it's gorgeous!!!
