Tix for all Yankee games go on sale this Friday
The season/plan tix for Mets games have already gone on sale, but no info about general seating?

YES a Yankee/Mets GTG would be awesome, I only worry that Don and I would kill each other  (we attempted something like that this past year but it fell through)

Plus these tickets are super hard to get. I always buy them right when they go on sale and keep refreshing at ticketmaster.com. So getting a bunch all together would be tough. But it was a good idea

to answer your questions, i dunno when the met tix go on sale, it's usually early in Jan or Feb.
Not sure about the raising of the prices, they have pricing categories by game. The Yankee tix would be more expensive than a game vs. the Padres, for example

I dont know if I want to help a Yankee fan come to Shea Stadium but since you are Denise's friend I will help ya. Just don't wear any Yankee garbage to my stadium.
I believe the only way to get them is if you buy a pack of tickets. You can try when single game tixs go on sale which is usually in Feb. As the game gets closer they put them up individually for sale. That is how I have gotten them in the past however they are in the boonies.

Single game tix don't go on sale until Jan/Feb. To get the Met-Yankee ones, you usually have to wait in line at the stadium and they only allow 8 purchased/person. I have wonderful uncles and cousins who freeze their patooties off every year to get us tix

Ok I'll take back the word garbage for Yankee Gear. I will say I went to a Met/Yank game at Yankee Stadium and I wore Mets gear and didnt get harassed once. Maybe it was because I was with DH who is a Yankee fan. Yes my DH is a Yankee fan and he let me have a Mets cake at our wedding.

I'm a passionate Yankee fan, so I tend to get sensitive at comments such as those.. but its all good now
Also ... there is a LOT of histroy between "some" Mets and Yankee fans on this board.. In the past its gotten VERY petty, and I really hate the pettiness.. but you probably did not know that , so I'm sorry for reacting the way I did. I dont at all mind a good debate about our respective teams, but they push us over to the Home Team board for such topics
Hey .... I will say that our relationships are very similar ... my DH is the Mets fan, I'm the Yankee fan... kudos to your DH for allowing the Mets cake, goodness knows my Husband would NEVER had tolerated a Yankee cake in reverse (though I DID get HIM a Mets 'grooms cake' for the rehearsal dinner.. ahh the things we do for love )
