I said to my husband, "Why would they announce it on Thanksgiving? That's so sad." Me and some of the ladies were all chatting about it...and DH goes: "So dorks like you would spend Thanksgiving dinner talking about it."

I think she will go for an actor who doesn't like sports at all.
I got so sad watching their wedding when he does that gasp like he has to try to breathe when he sees her.
I feel bad that she wore the white and all that....

I think it was a couple of things -
Nick seems like a down to earth kind of guy and Jessica is definitely not. You could tell he would get really annoyed when she acted all prissy.
Also - I think the age difference may have played a role here, and she was probably too immature for him.
I have a feeling she's going to be the next Paris Hilton in terms of partying...I think she may have felt she was missing out on that part of her life because she got married young.
I don't think babymaking played a role here... because they are both too into their careers right now.

I think she would have held onto the marriage unless he cheated. I am getting sad again.
I was listening to their "Baby its Cold outside" duet yesterday. Leo just laughs.
Are you Team Simpson or Team Lachey?
I am def Team Simpson.
Then it is weird how he wanted her to change her name and she never got around to it...I think he wanted a real wife

I am Team Lachey LOL.....I swear, I think people see her as goody 2 shoes...I really think thats all for show.
Tom even said "look how cool Nick looks...doing yard work, watching the game"...she seems like a diva and yes, I agree, I bet she parties her a** off since she did get married so young.

Team Lachey 100%. I agree with Sandra and Lisa.
As the seasons wore on, she seemed to get more and more spoiled and he still seemed to be a normal guy. I think that she's a very different person from the one she was 3 years ago, although obviously that's speculation since I don't actually know them. But the interviews, the show, the way she even carries herself - it's all different and not all for the better.
As terrible as divorce is, I think it's better than spending the rest of your life miserable.

I dont think people see her as a goody goody..I always saw Nick as the goody goody. I think he was the real one,he was the one who worried about spending money on ridiculous items (700 dollars on bra's)he was the one who cleaned and did the laundry. After season 2 Jessica turned into this diva and by Season 3..forget it she was beyond saving..hahahahahahahahaaa
Nick seemed like a mans man..wanted a wife, house, dog and his sports. IT didnt seem like it took much to make him happy...

I think what they are referring to is that she was immature, inexperienced and spoiled... at 23. Young-minded... not necessarily young in age. At least, I agree in that sense.
