Everything ties in so nicely, from the color of the cabinets, to the tile, to the paint on the walls.

 If you knew my husband... he can change a lightbulb and hang a pic that's it. He also travels for business and we really don't have the time to do it ourselves... it would have taken a lot more than 4 months to do the entire house. We did paint, EVERY WEEKEND for 9 weekends. The walls that we didn't gut were in such bad shape that we had to call in a spackler.
No, my FIL's main installer and his son did all of the work.
For someone who asked about the cabinets they are Richmaid, Independence model, cherry wood, Paprika stain. My FIL exclusively sells Richmaid.
As I add to the post I will add the contracting and sub contractors information. Yes, I spent a lot more time and money on redoing my house than I did on my wedding.

The mouldng around the window, as well as the pantry and the crown on the cabinets were all ordered from the cabinet manufacturer. They are the same wood and stain.
We also have a bottle of touch up stain if anything is to get knicked in the future.

Are you talking about the hole in the original wall? It was an outside wall and the previous owner filled it with steel wool. She was completely in over her head with this house.
Ummm, no, no mouse. I'm a very thorough buyer (I've done this before) and know what tell tale signs to look for.

Christine, my FIL and I are already to fly out to CA to do your kitchen.  You will find your house. I'm for ya'. I told him when you bid on one of the former houses and he said, "Really, CA? Well, is she attractive?" My FIL is quite a character. I said "Why? Is there an "Attractive Discount"? Oh, and did I get it?"
He won't do the South Shore of LI but he'll come to you in CA

Hey- if I can get the "attractive" discount, send him out! No house yet- the one last week is going to be tough to top for location, layout and price- it needed a new kitchen but at least I knew who to ask!
I LOVE your kitchen- its my dream with the exact cabinets and everything.
Tell you FIL I will be calling
I know this is the wrong board but I   to you every chance I can get!
I want some home dust!
