Very personal question. Do you pray on a regular basis
i added a poll to keep this annonymous bc it might offend some and make others feel uncomfortable.

I haven't "formally" prayed in years -- at least not in the way that my mom taught us to when I was younger.
But I do think about people throughout the day and wish good things for them...kinda say to myself please let them be OK. I am actually doing this quite frequently now.

I pray on my own when the feeling/need strikes me, and I pray when I go to synagogue, which unfortunately, has not been that frequently these days.

I used to pray like a robot every night for at least 10 minutes when I went to catholic school....
Then for a long time I just didnt care for religion...
These last couple of years I see myself getting more religious and going to church and praying nightly...
Its more me talking to God...Not saying the Our Father and Hail Mary type of thing.

My form of praying in the last few years is to my Father. I found myself struggling with religion just before he died and I still have that struggle. I just automatically started talking to my Father about my prayers

I pray ALL the time. I talk to God like I would talk to my best friend. Don't think I am nuts but sometimes I talk to him in my car. I guess everyone thinks I am on the cell phone. 
I feel that prayer and my personal relationship with God is one of the most important things in my life.

I don't go to church
I don't believe in orgainzed religion
but I pray every night- I believe in it
I pray thru out the day if I feel I need help
It's more the power of positive thinking for me then anything else

I don't pray so much as have little "quickies" with God. Just a little something, or even a thought, but hardly any full blown, in the name of the father stuff....

everynight... and also when i'm feeling anxious- it helps me to calm my mind and relax.
i also say a prayer everytime i pass a cemetary (for all the souls eventhough they arent there), and whenever a firetruck or ambulance passes me- for the people that may need them.
i also talk to my grandmother every night-- especially if i have a certain request b/c i know she can be pushy to get things done up there

I don't pray, persay. I just kind of talk in my head. I associate praying with religion, and I'm not religious at all. So call it what you will, but I keep people and things in my thoughts. At least the things I have no control over.
